Allied Global Engineering acquires G&J Group, a prominent engineering company in the North West

Allied Global Engineering, a company headquartered in Alderley Edge that specialises in acquiring and investing in companies in the manufacturing and engineering industries, has seen phenomenal success since 2020. Having completed 3 major acquisitions, and acquiring interests in 8 engineering companies, the most recent addition of Griffiths and Johnson LTD and the companies that fall under the G&J umbrella provide Allied Global Engineering with a wide range of specialities within the industry.

G&J Group consists of Griffiths & Johnson, G&J Powder Coating, G&J Laser Cut and G&J Logistics, each of which has expertise and experience in different areas of the industry. The group has been successfully in business for over 50 years as a heavy machinery manufacturer. It is one of the predominant designers and suppliers of heavy-duty hospital chairs, trolleys and bariatric equipment to hospitals throughout the UK.

G&J Group is also proud to work with JCB, which has been a customer for a significant amount of time. This fits in perfectly with Allied Global Engineering’s ethos, as they identify with JCB’s mission of innovation, high-quality products and British engineering, as their mission is also to build a better future.

Allied Global Engineering is a multi-faceted project-based business: nurturing and protecting British engineering, whilst also generating financial freedom for everyday people and encouraging entrepreneurial spirit.
